Caroline Miller, MA, RMFTI
Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Caroline has been working as a counselor since she graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with her MA in Marriage and Family Counseling. In addition to counseling, Caroline works for The Episcopal Church and is pursuing ordination.
Caroline grew up in Nairobi, Kenya and has lived in the United States for many years now. She loves cats, good books, and hot chocolate, among many other things.
Areas Of Practice
Caroline specializes in working with couples, adult women, and adolescent girls. She has helped clients overcome anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, social anxiety, relational problems, and more. She also offers premarital counseling packages that include an assessment and six sessions.
Having grown up on the missions field, Caroline is uniquely gifted to work in cross cultural situations, such as helping international students, missionary families, and recent immigrants. Caroline also has experience in Hispanic culture, though she does not offer bilingual counseling at this time.
Caroline uses an eclectic blend of techniques to match each client's unique needs. Most commonly, these include Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Rogerian Therapy interventions.
